Kirsten Dika

Law Student

Schulich School of Law

Kirsten is a 3L at the Schulich School of Law and has been the Creative Coordinator of the Animal Justice Academy since 2021. She completed her undergraduate degree in science psychology at the University of Alberta, and currently serves as a research assistant for Professor Jodi Lazare. Kirsten was a summer law student at Animal Justice in 2023, and is president of the Student Animal Law Association of Dalhousie. She is particularly interested in how animal law intersects with other areas of law including property, criminal, constitutional, and public health law. Kirsten lives in Halifax with her wife and their two pugs.
